TO BEAT THE HEAT: meaning and examples

Today we continue with two more phrases related to the heat in the summer.
Today's 1st phrase is: to feel like you are in a sauna
Meaning / Use: We use this phrase to describe when we feel extremely hot and humid, similar to how we feel when we are in a sauna.
Example 1: In Barcelona, with this humidity, it feels like we're in a sauna!
Today's 2nd phrase is: to beat the heat
Meaning / Use: We use this phrase refer to finding ways to stay cool or avoid the hot weather.
Example 2: Yesterday it was very hot and humid in Barcelona, so we went to the beach to beat the heat.
