Today is the second and last Theme Thursday of the month. Today, we are looking at another expression related to dance: TO CUT A RUG.
Definition: a slang expression that means "to dance."
Example 1: Yes, I can dance. I cut a rug from time to time.
Example 2: I had no idea that your dad can cut a rug! He has some great moves!
This is an older expression, and one that we often use jokingly.
