WORDY WEDNESDAY: PETTY

Hello, everyone! Happy Wednesday to you all. 

For today's Wordy Wednesday lesson, we are looking at the adjective PETTY. 

Definition 1: not important. 

Example 1: I don't remember why we were fighting. It was probably something petty. 

Definition 2: concerned with very trivial things in a spiteful or trivial way. 

Example 2: My old flatmate wouldn't let me use her sugar for my coffee. That seemed really petty. 

Example 3: He was SO angry that his coffee wasn't warm. I don't know why he was being so petty. 

That concludes our lesson for the day (and our last Wordy Wednesday for the academic year).
