TELECOMMUTE VOCABULARY: ‘SEND A ZOOM’

Welcome back and good morning, everyone! How was your weekend?

This week's theme is Telecommuting (= teleworking) Vocabulary. We figured the whole world can now use these words since so many more people work from home these days. 

We are beginning with the expression SEND A ZOOM.

Definition: Send an invitation for someone to join a meeting with the videoconferencing software called Zoom. 

Example 1: Friday works for me. Please send a Zoom when you can. 

Example 2: I just sent you a Zoom.

Example 3: Send him a Zoom for whatever time works best for you. He said he's free all day.

Technically, we should say "send a Zoom invitation" or "send an invitation for a Zoom meeting," but today's informal phrase seems to be the most common way to express this action.
