LET'S AGREE TO DISAGREE

Hello again everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you are having a good week so far. 

Today we continue with our look at phrases that we can use when we disagree with someone. We are giving you options that are more polite and less forceful.

Today's 1st phrase is: Let’s agree to disagree.

Meaning / Use: This phrase suggests that it’s okay to have different opinions without needing to argue further.

Example 1: We both have strong feelings about this topic. Let’s agree to disagree.

Today's 2nd phrase is: That’s an interesting perspective, but…

Meaning / Use: This phrase shows that the speaker recognizes the other person's viewpoint, before gently steering the conversation to another point of view.

Example 2: That's an interesting perspective, but I have some reservations about using new employees for this project.
