YOU HAVE MY FULL BACKING: meaning and examples
Happy Thursday everyone. I hope your week is going well. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin.
Today, once again, we look at two more phrases that we can use to give our approval or endorsement of a person, an action, an idea or a plan.
Today's 1st phrase is: Your contributions are invaluable.
Meaning / Use: When we use this phrase, we are recognizing the importance of someone's input or efforts.
Example 1: Your contributions are invaluable to our marketing team’s success. Thank you!
Today's 2nd phrase is: You have my full backing.
Meaning / Use: This phrase indicates complete support for someone’s actions or decisions.
Example 2: You have my full backing in this endeavour. You are moving the company in the right direction.
👉 Now it's your turn to practice some writing. I encourage you to write your own sentence (or two) with one or both of today's phrases. You can post your sentences on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Bluesky) and we will give you feedback about them as soon as we can.
