Our word of the day is: PATRIARCHAL

Definition: An adjective to describe a society structured in a way that gives men more power.

Example 1: It's no surprise that so few women are CEOs in our country. What do you expect from such a patriarchal country?

Example 2: We are tired of the old, patriarchal ways that we work, live, and raise our children. 

Example 3: They decided to challenge the traditional patriarchal family structure. She works as a lawyer and he stays home with the kids.
