INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY: MISOGYNY

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you're having a nice week. 

Today we are continuing our theme for the week, which is lessons related to women for International Women's Day.

Today's word is MISOGYNY. 

Definition: The dislike of (or prejudice against) women.

Example 1: I loved my job, but I couldn't handle the company culture and how it embraced misogyny.

Example 2: Every day in the media, we see how misogyny plays a huge role in how female celebrities are perceived. 

We can also use the adjective, MISOGYNISTIC. 

Example 3: I do not appreciate your misogynistic attitude toward me. If I were a man, you would not speak to me that way.
