COVID VOCABULARY: QUARANTEAM

Good morning and welcome to another Daily Vitamin lesson, everyone! 

This week, our theme is COVID Vocabulary. Today we are learning the word QUARANTEAM. This word is a combination of the words quarantine and team. 

Definition: The people you are with during a quarantine. 

Example 1: Do you want to have a Zoom session with me and my quaranteam?

Example 2: My quaranteam consisted of myself, my partner, and our two cats. 

Do you remember the name of a word that combines two words? It's called a portmanteau. We had a week of lessons on portmanteaus last year. Here is a link to that week's first lesson, which was about the word biopic.
