COVID VOCABULARY: ZOOMERS

Happy Thursday, everyone! How's your week going?

This week, our theme is COVID Vocabulary. Today we are learning the term ZOOMERS.

Definition: Slang for Generation Z (the generation after millennials). This is a combination of the words Zoom and Boomer. (Zoom comes from the popular video conferencing service, and Boomer comes from the nickname for the generation born between 1946 and 1964.) 

Example 1: I think that Zoomers are a very well-connected and socially-conscious generation. 

Example 2: Being the father of two Zoomers, I can tell you all about TikTok.
