Pronunciation tip: Notice that the "b" is not pronounced; it is silent

Definition: Owing gratitude for a service or favour; feeling grateful because of help given.

Sentence 1: We're deeply indebted to you for your help. 

Sentence 2: I am indebted to her for her help with the writing of my book.
