TO MAKE ENDS MEET: meaning and examples

Today we continue with two more phrases related to money and finance.
Today's 1st phrase is: to make ends meet
Meaning / Use: This expressions means to manage one's income so that there is enough to cover your expenses.
Example 1: She works two jobs to make ends meet; and she often also works on the weekends by babysitting the neighbour's children.
Today's 2nd phrase is: to put money aside
Meaning / Use: This phrase means to save money for the future.
Example 2: I put money aside every month for emergencies. If I every use part of the emergency fund, I always replace it as soon as I can.
