Hello, readers! It's Thursday! There are only two more days left in the work week.

How much work do you have to do today? If it's a lot, then you can definitely use today's idiom: TO BE BOGGED DOWN. It's part of our January Theme Thursday about words or expressions for being busy.

Definition: to be so busy or involved in something that you don't have time for anything else.

Example 1: I am bogged down at work today. I have to write three reports before lunch!

Example 2: We are always bogged down at the end of the month because we have to finish all of our financial reports.

Example 3: After my co-worker left, I was really bogged down with work. It was very stressful.

Hopefully you're not too bogged down at work today!

As always, thank you for taking time out of your busy day to read The Daily Vitamin!
