THEME THURSDAY: IDIOMS ABOUT FOOD (TO HAVE A BUN IN THE OVEN)

Hi everyone! Today is the first Thursday of December, which normally means that we introduce a new Theme Thursday. This month will be a little different: we only have two Thursday Daily Vitamin posts in December, so we are going to continue with our Idioms About Food theme.

Today we are looking at the colloquial expression TO HAVE A BUN IN THE OVEN. 

Definition: to be pregnant. 

Example 1: Guess who has a bun in the oven?

Example 2: Joan and I have a bun in the oven. We are due in March.
