SUNBURN

It means: when your skin becomes red, inflamed and sore due to too much exposure to the sun.

Example 1:
Avoid going to the beach between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. if you don't want to get sunburn.

Example 2:
He got such a bad sunburn after falling asleep in the sun that he had to go to the hospital for treatment.

So just be careful and make sure to put on lots of sun protection so that you don't get a sunburn this summer!
