SQUARE EXPRESSIONS-4: meaning and examples

Today we look at one last expression with the word SQUARE.
Today's expression is: To square up (with someone)
It means: to pay someone money that you owe them.
Example 1:
Jack. My boss just called and I've got to run. Can I ask you to square up with the waiter please?
Example 2:
If you pay the whole bill now, I'll square up with you when we get home. Okay?
