Today we look at yet another expression with the word SQUARE.
Today's expression is: a square meal
It means: a good, satisfying meal.
Example 1:
That poor boy looks as though he hasn't had a square meal for weeks.
Example 2:
I always try to have at least two square meals per day; sometimes, however, I don't eat much for dinner.
