MOTHER VOCABULARY (NURTURE)

Hello again everyone. I hope your day is going well so far. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin.  

As you probably know, this week we are looking at words that are traditionally related to mothers and maternity. 

Today's word is: Nurture

Definition 1: to care for and protect someone while they are growing.

Example 1: I was lucky because when I was a child, we didn't have a lot of money, but I was nutured by my parents and we all got along very well.

Definition 2: to help or encourage the development of something.

Example 2: Her mother was not an artist, but she nurtured her daughter Olga's love of art during her childhood.
