HALLOWEEN VOCABULARY: GOOSE BUMPS

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? I hope it went well and that you were able to relax a bit.

If you have been reading the Daily Vitamin for several years, you know we always do some Halloween-related lessons this time of year. We are continuing this tradition this week, and we are beginning with the expression GOOSE BUMPS. 

Definition: Small bumps on the skin caused by fear, excitement, or cold.

Example 1: That scene in the movie gave me goose bumps. It was so scary!

Example 2: I had goose bumps after watching the team win the championship game.
