Today's expression is: to make a fool of yourself
Meaning: to do something stupid which makes others think that you are a fool.
Example 1:
You made a complete fool of yourself at the party. You must have had too much to drink.
Example 2:
I don't mind being wrong, but I hate making a fool of myself.
