CHAIN-3: meaning and examples
Good morning once again.
Today we continue our look at expressions with the English word CHAIN.
Today's expression is: chain-link fence
Meaning: a fence made of wire in a diamond pattern. (Span = valla de tela metálica)
Example 1:
The farmer built a chain-link fence to keep his animals from escaping.
Example 2:
All along the motorway, there was a chain-link fence to keep people and animals from entering and getting hit by a car.
