WORDY WEDNESDAY: 'STRANGER' VS 'FOREIGNER': meaning and examples

Good morning, everyone! I hope your week is going well. 

Today we are looking at two commonly confused nouns:
STRANGER and FOREIGNER. Do you know the difference?

Stranger: a person you do not know. 

Example 1
: When I was a child, my mother told me not to talk to strangers.

Example 2
: This stranger just tried to pet my dog, and my dog didn't like him!

Foreigner
: a person from another country. 

Example 3
: Most of the foreigners in my neighbourhood shop at a local market. They have spices from around the world. 

Example 4
: When you are in another country, you are a foreigner. It's a great time to learn local customs and try new foods.
