VOCABULARY FOR YOUR CV: 'GENERATE'

Good morning and welcome to another Daily Vitamin lesson. Our theme for the week is Vocabulary for your CV. 

Today's word is the verb TO GENERATE.

Definition: To cause something to exist. (Similar to "create.")

Example 1: Our new sales campaign generated a 5% increase in sales. 

Example 2: I generated 200 new jobs for the company. 

Example 3: Last year I discovered three new ways to generate income for my business.
