VOCABULARY FOR TRUTH (HONEST-TO-GOD)

Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope all of you are having a great day.

As you know, if you read yesterday's Daily Vitamin, this week we are looking at words and expressions that are used to talk about truth, or the lack of truth. 

Today's expression is: Honest-to-God

Definition: Really true; genuine; real.

Example 1: After winning the Madrid Open by beating both Nadal and Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz has become an honest-to-God celebrity. 

Example 2: You really didn't know that the CEO was fired yesterday? Honest to God...? You didn't know?
