VOCABULARY FOR RELATIONSHIPS & DATING

Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin! I hope you had a great weekend, and I hope that your week has started off well.

This week we are going look at words and phrases related to relationships and dating. As always, I encourage you not only to learn these words and phrases, but also try to incorporate them into your everyday English.

Today's 1st word/phrase is: Partner

Meaning: A person with whom someone is in a romantic or intimate relationship.

Example 1: I'm happy to say that my partner and I have been together for 30 years. And we're still in love. 

Today's 2nd word/phrase is: Online dating 

Meaning: the activity of using the internet to meet and interact with potential romantic partners.

Example 2: He met his girlfriend through online dating, and they've been together for 10 years.
