TRAVEL VOCAB: NEWS TRAVELS FAST

Today we are looking at another expression related to travel for our theme of the week, Travel Vocabulary. Our expression today is NEWS TRAVELS FAST. 

Definition: An expression used when news (often gossip) spreads quickly. 

Example 1: You also know that Sammy is pregnant? Wow, news travels fast in this family!

Example 2: I already heard about the mayor. News travels fast in this town. 

Example 3: By 10 am, the entire office knew that James had been fired. News travels fast.
