THEME THURSDAY: RUBBISH! ('CHUCK IT IN THE BIN'): meaning and examples
Hi everyone! For this month's Theme Thursday, we are looking at words related to RUBBISH. Today we are looking at the expression TO CHUCK IT IN THE BIN.
Definition: to throw something into the garbage.
Example 1: Do you want these old shoes or should I chuck them in the bin?

To CHUCK something means TO THROW AWAY, and a BIN is a receptacle in which to deposit rubbish (in US English, a garbage can). The word BIN is typically used more in UK English than in US English.
