THE WORD EVEN (EVEN WHEN)

Hello everyone! Today we are continuing our lessons about the word EVEN. Today we are looking at EVEN WHEN. 

EVEN WHEN is very similar to EVEN THOUGH. We use both to show an unexpected result. However, because we have the word WHEN, we are showing an emphasis on a
time when something happens. 

Example 1: Even when I followed the recipe exactly, the cake didn't taste good. I tried to make it three times!

Example 2: I could never make my boss happy, even when I did everything he asked me to.

Example 3: Even when I was young, I knew I wanted to be a teacher.
