Below you will find today's sentence. Today's missing word does NOT begin with the letter X, but rather the letter E. However, the letter X is part of a compound word that comes before the word "activities" in the sentence below.
Sentence: While attending secondary school, he participated in a lot of e__________ activities, such as basketball, football and the chess club.
