Today's WANT synonym is: To long for

Definition: To have a very strong desire or yearning for someone or something.

Example 1: I love living in Barcelona, but I often long for my family and friends who live in the United States.

Example 2: After so many years working in the same company and feeling like she was not growing, she longed for a career change; so, she began searching for a new job.
