SORT-6: meaning and examples

Good morning again.

Today we continue our study of the English word SORT, by looking at another SORT expression.

Today's expression is: of sorts (informal)

Meaning
: used when you are saying that something is not a good example of a particular type of thing.

Example 1:
He offered us an apology of sorts and we accepted it.

Example 2
:
He has made a living of sorts playing music in the underground for money.
