For Phrasal Verb Friday, we are looking at one definition of TO USHER IN. 

Definition: To be at, mark or celebrate an important point in time.

Example 1: We ushered in the New Year in Paris. It was incredible. 

Example 2: Where should we usher in your 40th birthday?

There are several other definitions of this phrasal verb, but we are just looking at this one. This phrasal verb is optionally SEPARABLE.
