Today's phrasal verb is TO KEEP AT (SOMETHING)

Definition: to continue with something difficult. 

Example 1: I know that Latin is difficult, but you have to keep at your studies

Example 2: If you keep at football, you will improve. 

Example 3: I wanted to quit playing the piano, but I kept at it and now I'm happy I did. 

This phrasal verb is INSEPARABLE and also TRANSITIVE
