PHRASAL VERB FRIDAY: MAKE UP (RECONCILE): meaning and examples

Hello, readers! On Wednesday we looked at the expression TO BURY THE HATCHET, which means to make peace. Today's phrasal verb for Phrasal Verb Friday is TO MAKE UP, which has a very similar meaning. 

Definition: to reconcile.

Example 1: All couples fight, but it's important that you make up before you go to bed at night.

Example 2: The best way to make up is to say you're sorry, and really mean it. 

This phrasal verb is INTRANSITIVE and INSEPARABLE.
