LEAVE-2 (EWV): meaning and examples

Meaning: to say or do nothing more about something (a problem, a disagreement, etc.); to leave a situation as it is.
(Significado: no decir ni hacer nada para solucionar algo (un problema, un desacuerdo, etc.); dejar una situación tal y como está.)
Example 1:
We'll never agree, so why don't we just leave it at that!
(Nunca estaremos de acuerdo, por tanto vamos a dejarlo tal y como está.)
Example 2:
This is the best we can do. We'll have to leave it at that.
(Esto es lo mejor que podemos hacer. Tendremos que dejarlo tal y como está.)
Example 3:
I've simply decided to quit my job. Let's just leave it at that. I don't want to talk about it anymore.
