It's almost time for our Daily Vitamin summer break, so we thought it would be a good time to look at some idioms with the word WATER. Today we are looking at the expression TO FEEL LIKE A FISH OUT OF WATER.

Definition: uncomfortable in one's surroundings. 

Example 1: I get nervous at Cindy's house. All of her friends are artists, but I'm not creative. I feel like a fish out of water

Example 2: I felt like a fish out of water at my new job, but I slowly learned my responsibilities and became comfortable.
