IDIOMS WITH 'SWEET': 'THAT'S SWEET'

We are here for another day of our Idioms with the word 'Sweet' theme. Today’s lesson is about the expression THAT'S SWEET.

Definition 1: An expression meaning "that is very nice or very kind."

Example 1: You brought me flowers? That's so sweet! 

NOTE: We often say "that is / was so sweet of you infinitive."

Example 2: That was so sweet of you to help our neighbour with his recycling.

Example 3: That is so sweet of you to cook me dinner.

Definition 2: Slang for "cool," "wonderful" or "awesome" (normally in American English)

Example 4: You got a new job? That's sweet.
