IDIOMATIC EXPRESSIONS: meaning and examples
Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you had a great weekend, and I hope that your week has started off well. If you were on holiday for Semana Santa, I hope that went well too. :-)
This week we are going to look at some common idiomatic expressions. As always, I encourage you not only to learn these expressions, but try to begin using them in your daily English. These idiomatic expressions can make your English more interesting.

Example 1: At the party, John told a funny story to break the ice with the new guests.
Example 2: Asking about someone's weekend is a typical way to break the ice at the beginning of an English class.
Today's 2nd expression is: to hit the nail on the head
