It means: to be in a good / bad mood.
Example 1: You don't look very happy. Did you get out of bed on the wrong side this morning?
Example 2: Betty is being so friendly to everyone. She definitely got out of bed on the right side today!
Which side of the bed did you get out of today? Hopefully, the right one!
