This week's theme is Expressions with the word LOVE. Today we are looking at the expression A LABOUR OF LOVE. 

Definition: Hard work that a person does because he/she enjoys it (not because of the money or praise they receive). 

Example 1: This beautiful garden really was a labour of love. 

Example 2: I know I can buy pasta at the store, but making it myself is such a labour of love.

Example 3: This meal looks great. What a labour of love!
