EXPRESSIONS WITH END (2): meaning and examples

Good morning!

Today's END expression is: ODDS AND ENDS

It means: miscellaneous things or items (usually physical).

Example 1:
I was just cleaning out the closet and I found a couple of boxes full of odds and ends, like some old photos from university, some costumes, a candle holder and so on. What am I going to do with all of this stuff?

Example 2:
My grandparents' attic was full of odds and ends. When we were children, we used to love going up there to explore and play with all of those things!

Enjoy your day!
