DANCE EXPRESSIONS (STRUT YOUR STUFF): meaning and examples

Today we look at another expression related to dancing.

Today's expression is: To strut your stuff

Definition: to dance in a confident and usually sexually exciting way, especially trying to be noticed by other people.

Example 1: Hey Mark, why don't you get out on the floor and strut your stuff

Today's expression can also be used more generally, to mean doing something which you know you are good at in a proud and confident way to impress other people.

Example 2: Mark is the type of person who likes to show off and strut his stuff.
