ADEMÁS IN ENGLISH-3

Good morning.

Today we finish our look at different words in English that express the same meaning as the Spanish adverb/preposition además (de); we've included some more examples below.

Example 1:
Apart from their house in Madrid, they also have a villa in northern Italy.

Example 2:
He is a horrible CEO, and what's more he knows it! He should resign.

Example 3:
That suit is very expensive, and anyway it doesn't look good on you.

If you were to translate all of the examples that we have looked at into Spanish, you could replace the highlighted expressions with además or además de.
