Today we look at two more interesting phrases related to money and finance.
Today's 1st phrase is: A penny saved is a penny earned
Meaning / Use: This expressions suggests that saving money is just as valuable as earning it.
Example 1: My very frugal grandmother used to always say to me, "remember, Matthew, a penny saved is a penny earned; every little bit counts."
Today's 2nd phrase is: Don’t put all your eggs in one basket
Meaning / Use: This very often-used phrase advises against investing all your money or resources in just one option.
Example 2: My father used to always say, "when investing, remember not to put all your eggs in one basket."
