Today we are learning TO HASH (something) OUT

Definition: To resolve a problem or reach an agreement. 

Example 1: We hashed out the sales deal and it will be finalized on Friday. 

Example 2: Did you talk to the IT Department to hash out the issues with our email system?

Example 3: We have to hash out some problems with city building codes before we begin construction. 

This phrasal verb is transitive and optionally separable
