WORDY WEDNESDAY: FOLKLORE: meaning and examples

Hi, readers! How's your week going? I trust everything is going well.

For Wordy Wednesday, we are looking at the word FOLKLORE. It's a great vocabulary word for the month related to Halloween!

Definition
: traditional art, literature, stories, etc. that are shared in a culture.

Example 1: The werewolf and vampire are two interesting parts of folklore in America and Europe.

Example 2: According to folklore, all of the spirits of the dead come out on November 1st.

Example 3
: In my village, a common folklore is that the forest is haunted by a huge white wolf.
