PUSH-4: meaning and examples

Good morning again.

Today we finish our review of expression with PUSH.

Today's 1st push expression is: to push something through

Meaning: to get a new law or plan officially accepted.

Example 1:
The current government is pushing the changes through before the next elections.

Today's 2nd push expression is: to push someone around

Meaning: to give orders to someone in a rude or unpleasant way.

Example 2:
Jack...you shouldn't always let that bully push you around. You are bigger and stronger than he is. Why do you let him do it?

Remember that tomorrow we will send the Essential Weekly Vitamin for Spanish-speaking students of English.

I hope everyone has a nice day.
