BUSINESS EXPRESSIONS (BUSINESS AS USUAL): meaning and examples

Welcome back, everyone!

After finishing the 2019 Alphabet Game on Friday, we are returning for two more weeks of Daily Vitamin lessons before we pause for summer break.

This week we are focusing on Business Expressions. We begin with the phrase BUSINESS AS USUAL

Definition: Working normally, despite some difficulties or challenges.

Example 1: We think our store might be closing, but we haven't heard anything from management. For now, it's business as usual

Example 2: I'm really not sure what's happening with our merger. Until we know, it's business as usual here at the office.

Example 3: There's a chance we might close early today because of the weather, but for now, it's business as usual

That's all for today. Thanks for reading!

If you feel motivated to do a little practice with this expression, post a sentence with it on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter) and we will give you some feedback.

See you tomorrow for another lesson related to business expressions.
