This week we will begin the 2019 Alphabet Game on Wednesday. So for Monday and Tuesday, we will look at two expressions with the modal verb May.

Today's expression is: AS THE CASE MAY BE

Definition: An expression used when two things are possibly true, depending on the situation. 

Example 1: It's important to consider a potential new employee's experience (or lack of experience, as the case may be). 

Example 2: You shouldn't stand here looking at everyone while they're working (or talking, as the case may be).
