Good morning. Today's word is: sympathetic It means: to show that you understand or care about someone else's problems. The opposite is unsympathetic. Do not confuse sympathetic with simpático. That word is translated into English as kind; nice; or friendly. Example 1 When I was going through that difficult time, I spent a lot of time talking to Betty. She's such a sympathetic person. I feel that she really listened to what I was saying and I always felt much better after our discussions.
